Peetcho ("we," "us," or "our") operates peetcho.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
Account & Profile
Email, password (hashed), name, social media handles, portfolio URL, content stats, and optionally gender (for personalized content suggestions).
Gmail Connection
When you connect Gmail, we store encrypted OAuth tokens to send emails on your behalf. We do not read your emails or access your inbox. See the "Google User Data" section below for full details.
Email History
We store emails you send through the Service (recipient, subject, body, timestamp) so you can view your history.
Usage Data
We collect anonymized analytics about how you use the Service.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and personalize the Service
- Send emails on your behalf via Gmail
- Process payments through Stripe
- Send service updates and marketing (with consent)
- Improve the Service and ensure security
If you provide your gender, it's used to generate relevant content suggestions via our AI provider.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services for authentication, database, payments, analytics, AI processing, and contact discovery. These providers only receive data necessary for their specific function and are obligated to protect your information.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
Google User Data
When you connect your Gmail account to Peetcho, we access and handle your Google user data as follows:
Data Accessed
- Your email address (via the userinfo.email scope) to identify your connected account
- Permission to send emails on your behalf (via the gmail.send scope)
How We Use This Data
- Send pitch emails to brands on your behalf when you click "Send"
- Display your connected Gmail address in your account settings
- We do not read, scan, or access your inbox, drafts, or any other emails
How We Store This Data
- OAuth refresh and access tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before storage
- Your Gmail email address is stored to display in your settings
- All data is stored in our secure database with row-level security
Data Sharing
- We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google user data to third parties
- We do not use your Google user data for advertising purposes
Data Retention & Deletion
- Your Gmail tokens are deleted immediately when you disconnect Gmail from Settings
- All Google user data is deleted when you delete your Peetcho account
- You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions
Limited Use Disclosure
Peetcho's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, we immediately delete your profile, Gmail tokens, and email history.
Your Rights
- Access & Update: View and edit your profile in Settings
- Delete: Delete your account anytime from Settings
- Disconnect Gmail: Revoke access anytime from Settings
- Opt Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime
Security
We encrypt sensitive data, use HTTPS, and implement row-level security. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Additional Information
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
- International Transfers: Data may be processed in the United States
- Changes: We'll notify you of material changes to this policy
